WHAT IS YOUR POTENTIALS


                            


Life is not a rehearsal, as quoted by a preacher. we don’t have another life except for the one we have now, and I strongly believe that each and every one of us are endowed from the womb by God. We all have potentials and great destinies. But the question is, have you discovered your potentials? Have you been able to visualize your destiny? Have you discovered who you are?
According to the dictionary, the word POTENTIAL is defined as ''existing in possibilities, not in actuality. Being potent; endowed with the energy adequate to produce a result''
Sometime I try to make friends with people only to study them and tell them about their wasting potentials. A lot of people are on the wrong side of destiny simply because they failed to discover their potentials. You can’t be successful on the wrong side of your destiny.
Your potential is that thing that God deposited in you to change another person’s life. The books you are supposed to write that you have not written. The songs you supposed to sing. That thing in you that should put smiles on peoples face. Where you should have been that you have not been. The personalities you should have known that you have not known yet.
A writer once said that the greatest place to dig for treasure is at the cemetery; there you will find dead visions, dead destinies, buried dreams and unutilized potentials. Many of us has mentors; you chosen them as your mentors because they impacted your life as a result of utilizing their potentials. My prayers for you is that you will not waste your potentials.
Some people may be asking; how do I discover my potentials?
1. Pay attention to what people always say about you, things they commend you of being good at.
2. Ask your parent about things they discovered you always love to do during childhood.
3. Discover things you always do with passion.
4. What subject are you good at school?
5. Pay close attention to your dream and try to understand them.
Now, if you could carefully observe all this instructions, I assure you, you will begin to discover who you are and the great potentials that lies inside of you.
