What is your potentials part.2

Image
By Franklin Okechukwu Bernard God does not waste his resources. No human being created by God  is a waste, we all have potentials attached to our life and destiny.  God designed every man's destiny right from the womb and had made provision for him/her to be able to realize the full potentials. But it is however up to us to discover those potentials.  For one to discover his or her potentials, you need to pay proper, adequate and focused attention to yourself, discover the things you love doing, the  things you are passionate about and the things people always commend you on.  It is not enough to say you are good at something without proving yourself on it. You can't say I'm a born footballer whereas you have not played on a pitch before. You can't say I'm destined to be a boxer if you haven't fought and win at least in the lowest level. For you to approve you are good at something, you must have tried doing it at least in a little successful way....

Nnamdi Kanu blew it! Not a worthy General.

Three decades ago, January 31, 1985, to be exact, in faraway South Africa, something happened. The State President of the then apartheid South Africa, Pieta Willem Botha, speaking in parliament, offered the then imprisoned Nelson Mandela his freedom on condition that he ‘unconditionally reject violence as a political weapon’. This would not be the first time Botha would make this offer to Mandela; in fact, it would be the sixth of such offer. There had been earlier ones that required that Mandela accept exile in the Transkei as a condition for freedom. What was unique about this sixth offer, however, was that it was the first time that Mandela took his time to pen a thorough response to Botha’s shenanigans. His daughter Zinzi Mandela read her father’s reply to this offer before a mass gathering in Jabulani Stadium, Soweto, on February 10, 1985. Below is the full text of Mandela’s response as read by Zinzi: "I am a member of the African National Congress. I have a...

Reno Omokri sheds the hell out of Lai Mohammed and Buhari's Ministers

Image
That Lai Mohammed has reduced himself from minister for information to minister for explaining why President Muhammadu Buhari does not attend to official duties is now obvious! Instead of busying himself generating ideas for the betterment of Nigeria, he is more concerned with generating excuses for Buhari's failure! Why has Lai done this to himself? Why has he turned himself into the Southern end of a bull?  And when CNN's Richard Quest gave him an opportunity to redeem himself by asking him the leading question 'which country makes the best jollof rice', Lai Mohammed proved how irredeemable he is by saying, and I quote "I want to say Senegal". Really! Senegal. Is Lai Mohammed now the minister of information for Senegal?  And to make matters worse, Lai tried to spin the storm that came after his disappointing response by claiming that he misunderstood Mr. Quest's question. If Lai can misunderstand such a simple question,...
